I want to write a really long entry but:

a) Even if I have millions of things to write about, the thought particles are still having a party in my head and won't sober up.
b) I'm lazy, but not. I know, I don't get it either.
c) I feel sick and can't concentrate.

Anyway, here's a little (true) story that made me go, "I wish I had done the same when I was her age (10 years old)!"

Teacher: We should all go to mass because if we don't go to mass, then we will commit a mortal sin. If we commit a mortal sin, we cannot take communion unless we go to confession beforehand.
Rorie: I don't think I can follow that
Teacher: Why not?
Rorie: Because my mom is tired when it's Sunday. And my dad is also tired from work on Sunday. That's why they can't go to mass and when they can't go to mass, I can't go to mass.
Teacher: Well then I guess I'll have to talk to your mother
Rorie: I don't think that's a good idea
Teacher: Why not?
Rorie: Because I think, I think it's none of your business

Here's a list of the things I want to talk about.

1. I might help out as a research assistant because our writer friend is going to write a book on Chino Roces.
2. I finally found my counterpart to Anthony Hopkins' character in 84 Charing Cross. He works at "A Different Bookstore." He doesn't like me yet because my mom and I kept asking him stupid questions but sooner or later, he'll warm up. I hope. I want to be his friend.
3. I really enjoy going out with people who are older than I am (meaning in their 40s and above). I always make it a point to tag along with my parents when they're going somewhere because I meet so many interesting people and learn so much from them.
4. I went to a Kumon orientation and I was called for an initial interview for November 3. I'm not dying to get this job or anything, but I do want the experience. I hope this works out. I've only just realized that as long as I'm patient, I can get a job that I want. I don't know if this holds true for The Other Place, though. I don't want to get my hopes up too high.
5. I didn't enjoy "Literary Occasions" too much.
6. I'm very much enjoying "A Room of One's Own," though. I read every page as slowly as I can to make the book last longer.

That's it.

Is it harder? Hm. I went on an orientation and it didn't seem as stressful as handling a whole class, but yeah, I could be wrong :)

Thanks for the heads up. I hope I see you soon! - Mika

Hi, Mika!

I've wanted to read A Room of One's Own for some time now but I've always been intimidated by it. (But you've convinced me to give it a go -- since you enjoyed it so much ^_^)

Hope all is well with you.

Btw, may I add you to my bloglist?

Hi Tin sure! I'd be honored :) Btw, guess what I'm re-reading? Possession! You lent me that book and finally, I have my own copy. So I'm reading it again.

I am sure you'll love (and even identify with) "A Room of One's Own" It took me a while to get up the nerve to buy a copy because I was intimidated as well. Heh.
