I take it back. My boss is a nice person, albeit worlds different from me. She saved me from complete humiliation and is going to give me books on leadership. My father buys how-to books a lot and it never fails to make me laugh. Well, look who's laughing now.

"You think I don't notice you sitting in one corner by yourself every time we have a meeting? You should join us. Let's have a GNO soon."

"What's that"

"Sobra ka na ah, Girls Night Out."

"Ah."

She wants me to be chummy-chummy with them, which is sweet. Although I'm really not that kind of person. Earlier we had to review a Japanese restaurant and I didn't know what to say. I have so much to learn in the working environment. So much, in fact, that I surreptitiously snatched "Managing to Relate: Interpersonal Skills at Work" from off the bookshelf. I'm going to hide it like anything because my father will not only laugh at me but will give me more books, as well. Baby steps, daddy-o.

That reading list on the right is going to get down and boogie with new flava, soon.
