On my cousin's debut last night:
... Last night, for instance. My dad was probably getting bored and so, in the effort to entertain himself, he picked up the microphone and started lip-synching to the terrible dance song that the dj at the party was playing. Amidst the dancing college freshmen, my dad, resplendent in his rumpled blue barong, was doing his version of a ballet. I'm sure it will be offensive to professional ballet dancers everywhere. Fantastic. I'm so proud that I'm used to outrageous stunts like that one (they aren't even outrageous to me anymore) and sorry that everyone can't have fathers like mine. Martin's so amused that he wants me to videotape our dinner conversation.
BJ and I had a great conversation today. I kept giving him a hard time about his "World's Smallest Digital Camera," a plastic contraption that some Chinese guy sold him for 25 dollars at the swap meet. It's got NO megapixel to speak of, no zoom, no flash and a magnifying glass type thing you use to focus on your target. He's so proud of it, too.
Livejournal has been down all of today, and possibly all of tomorrow as well. I wonder how "those guys" are doing. I'm not that affected, actually. I just feel bad that I don't know what's going on in the "Oh no they didn't!" community. It's amazing how LJ caught everyone's fancy (yes, including mine). It's so foolproof, that's why. And it's such a testament to the Pinoy's inner chismoso/chismosa. It's like Friendster, but meatier.
Didn't do much today. Attempted to finish the story I have to submit to Ramon (very soon) but failed. I'll wrestle with it again tomorrow. Also watched Catwoman. Why? I don't know, either! It was so bad! We finished it, though. We also finished a whole box of Skyflakes. Okay, I'm only realizing this entry is going nowhere so I'm off. Tomorrow, I terrorize my 2 year old cousin again. Yay.
