I have a very difficult time pretending that I'm interested when all I want is for you to shut the fuck up. I don't claim to be a fascinating person but really, have you ever noticed how some people are just exhausting to listen to? For instance, there are people who think that you want to know their itinerary from the minute they wake up. I don't care if you had trouble deciding whether to eat maling or bacon for breakfast! Please just shut it.
And then there are the eager beavers who, I'm sorry, annoy me to no end. Take for instance, the guy I was with during the club orientation of the grade school. I have no trouble talking to people and I think I'm friendly enough so when we were introduced, I was pretty responsive and asking questions. However, he was just so overly everything that pretty soon, I was at my wit's end. At one point, he emphatically raised both his hands and feet when a teacher asked "Who likes food?" I'm pretty sure he yelled louder than the second graders present. During intermission, he went straight up to the microphone and made Darth Vader voices. To no one in particular. With the vice principal five steps away from him.
Who does that? Pwede ba?
I know I know, I shouldn't let him affect me and all that. Believe me, I tried. I tried to ignore him but ridiculously, he was the one asking me, "Ok ka lang ba? Nakukulitan ka ba sa akin"
Nako hinde.
Anyway. Whoosh.
I am now one of the moderators of Blue Horn, the writing club of second and third graders. Smooshy little boys. I've always loved little boys because you can yell at them when they get rowdy but they won't get hurt. They always come running up to hug you. I'm very happy that I got this opportunity because it's good training for what I'll eventually end up doing. My boss (I guess I should start calling him that) gave me samples of the magazines and they are so adorably written. I had tears in my eyes and stitches in my sides after reading their poems/essays. Because I love you guys, here are a few samples:
1) It the first day of school I came from prep. I am a new student when I am still in prep.. Then at grade one and grade two I was an old student.
Note: This year I am in grade 2. Remember!!!!
At the first day of school I was nervous then second day I thought it was scary then when it was the next day I felt excited going to school. When I was inside my classroom i felt happy. We played we read books and we also drew pictures.
2) My talent is stars in science.
3) I feel happy because when I eat pizza it tastes delicious and a little spicy. (And a little spicy daw)
4) My favorite game is Read alert 2. I like it because the tanks are nice also the soldiers!
5) I can win games by eating GO, Glow & Grow foods. I will also practice. I will play fair so I don't lose.
6) Food is Yummy!
Chicken, meat, ice cream and gummy
I like these because they are yummy
Cookies, spaghetti, corn and chocolate
These foods are so great!
Sweet, bitter, salty and sour
I can eat all of these in an hour
When I drink soup I slurp
After eating, I burp
Here is my poem about food
Why did I write this? Now I'm in an eating mood
7) I have two friends they like to play happy games every time. It was so fun so I joined and had the best time. We laughed and laughed and then said goodby. We went home after 1:00 PM.
8) (My favorite) Tiger, tiger your fur shinning bright your eye
and paw strong as a rock. The sun is like you.
Your like an immortal sun burning bright.
You are a fast meteor racing with the other stars and planets
Oh tiger, tiger (with drawing of a paw)
9) My favorite song is "Somewhere I belong" by Linkin Park because it makes me feel strong
10) When I listen to classical music I feel happy because I remember the old days with my friends. (What old days is this kid talking about?? He's in the third grade!! Hilarious)
Needless to say, I can't wait to meet them.
The most beautiful part of this whole thing, is that BJ sent me congratulatory flowers!! That boy is now an expert at surprising me, considering the fact that I ruined most of his former ones. He's just great. I love him to pieces.

meron pa na tumutugtog yung kanta ng daft punk (one more time) and he STOOD UP and danced. as in hardcore sayaw. tapos after every move sasabihin nya "haha! ganun eh! haha! ganun eh!"
